Domain expiry checker

Enter a domain and this tool reads the registry's own RDAP record: the authoritative source, not a cached WHOIS page. The lookup happens in your browser, straight from your machine to the registry; we never see the domains you check.

Reading the status codes

A healthy domain usually shows client transfer prohibited, which is the registrar lock, a good thing. The ones that deserve attention are pending delete and redemption period: both mean the domain has already expired and is on its way out. Coverage note: all common gTLDs (.com, .net, .org, .io and friends) publish RDAP. Some country TLDs do not, or omit the expiry date; for those the registrar account is the only source.
